Donations and public fundraising are an essential form of income for Aiséirí and we pledge
to treat our donor, with respect, appreciation and confidentiality.
We commit to operating in an accountable, transparent, open and honest manner.
In raising funds, Aiséirí will accurately describe its activities and needs. Our policies and
practices will ensure that any donations received will be used solely to further the
organisation’s mission.

Donor Charter
As a charity seeking donations from the public, Aiséirí aims to comply with the
Guidelines for Charitable Organisations on Fundraising from the Public.
Donations and public fundraising are an essential form of income for Aiséirí and we
pledge to treat you, our donor, with respect, appreciation and confidentiality.
We commit to operating in an accountable, transparent, open and honest manner.
In raising funds, Aiséirí will accurately describe its activities and needs. Our policies
and practices will ensure that any donations received will be used solely to further
the organisation’s mission.
To our donors and prospective donors, we make the commitment that you will :

• Be informed of the organisations mission, and of the way the organisation
  intends to use donations.
• Be informed and consulted with as to how your donation will be utilised.
• Be appreciated and receive recognition and appropriate acknowledgement –
  with consideration of confidentiality.
• Be clear on your point of contact within Aiséirí, and will receive timely and
  truthful communication.
• Have access to the agreed procedures for giving feedback and making
  complaints.
• Have the option to opt out of mailing lists, and you will be informed if the
  organisation intends to share mailing lists with third parties.
• Have access to the organisation’s financial statements, and to receipts and
  invoices related to the donation.
• Be informed of the status and authority of those seeking donations; for
  example, donors will be informed if fundraisers are employees of the organisation or third party agents such as a hired professional or a volunteer
